Picnic

Today we had our first picnic in the yard. It was so warm, nearly 70 degrees. The kids drank lemonade out of cups with straws, but the uneven terrain of the yard made for many tipping cups so in the end the yard and blankets drank most of their drinks. They also ate apple sauce. Nora was turning her spoon just a little early which resulted in a cascade of sauce all down her shirt and pants. A successful picnic.

Later in the day Grammy and Grampa aka Pop-Pop (Nora has started saying it so maybe a name change?) came for a visit so Leigh and I could enjoy a dinner out with Lynn and Christian at the Bonefish Grill. The food was excellent and it was great to spend time with friends. It sounded like the kids had a great time with the grandparents and that they were well behaved.

Spring is in the air and tomorrows looks like another sunny day. The fish have woke up from their hiberation and flowers are beginning to bloom. I feel rejuvenated by the sun. :)
