First Christmas at Greenwood

We put up our second tree of the year two days ago. The tree had stopped taking water and began dropping needles at a rapid pace, so we un-decorated the tree and took it out with just a few needles left on it.

The new tree went in that night, so christmas will go on with a beautiful green tree full of needles. Today is Christmas eve and the kids are excited for tomorrow. Jack wants a dump truck and Nora wants one too, but I think she is just repeating jack. She really likes puzzles and her Sofie doll, so Santa will probably bring some of these toys.

It has been an amazing year and we have so much to be thankful for and to celebrate during this Christmas holiday. We are taking the week of to spend time with family, both here in PA and in DC. Leigh's brother Mark had planned to fly in from California but he was not able to get a flight. Merry Christmas!
