As part of the memorial day tradition, we took a bike ride at the bike path in Conshohoken today. Uncle Mark and Grandpa Dan joined us and Uncle Scott let the way since it is his tradition. It was a beautiful day without a cloud in the sky. The temperature reached 91 degrees but the kids did great with their trail-gator bikes attached to Leigh's and mine. We road over 12 miles and sweated quite a bit. After, we took a quick swim in the pool and heading up to num num and pop pop's for a mini picnic which was fun. Burgers, hot dogs, baked beans, salads, taco dip, ice cream cake and lots and lots of drinks to stay hydrated! Jack caught some baby frogs in the pool and Nora got a few too. We played a little crochet and hung out with Jasper the bulldog who Ashley was dogsitting.
The day before we celebrated the family picnic at uncle Rick's. Despite some early rain showers, the weather was nice. Very warm and a bit humid. The kids had fun exploring the yard, catching snakes with uncle doug and eating triple chocolate cake.
The week before we enjoyed a night at the church carnival with num num, pop pop, Ashley, Mark and Leigh's friend Emma.
