The pool is finally clear and the temperature is less shocking, so there has been a lot more swimming. The kids are both progressing well with there swimming and they like to be in most of the day. The temperatures were in the 90s the last two days, so being in the pool was just the thing to stay cool.







Last weekend we ventured down to DC to see Grampa Dan and Leigh's stepmother's family. We enjoyed a nice brunch outside and got to meet her niece's baby girl Eden.

The most exciting or potentially terrifying moment was when an overexcited border collie tried to eat Nora's shoes while she was getting a piggy back ride from Leigh. In the end, no harm came of it and Nora's comment was, "that dog needs more training." I agree!
