Playground and stuff

Tonight we visited the Saucon Valley elementary school playground. We hadn't gone for a few weeks, so they had a great time running around. They made friends with a nine year old Asian boy and his 2 year old sister. Jack had to poop and Nora did not want to leave so we all had an adventure using the oversized pot-a-potty. Questions included "what's that blue stuff?", "did you hear that?", "where do we wash our hands?", and "how do you flush this thing?". Being that it was still nearly 80 degrees with high humidity and three people in the low ventilation outhouse, my answers usually were followed by a question to Jack, "are you done?" to which he would grimace and say, "nnnoooooo". Then another splash followed by "did you hear that?". We survived and after a quick hand washing with baby wipes at the car, we returned to the playground where I caught these 2 pics.

In other news, Jack informed us that "snug" means in bed. Quite clever! Nora has been getting creative with books. She keeps getting one of the Harry Potter books and reading from it in a made up language. When I asked what book it was, she said it's called Butt Shake Beauty. Interesting title!

Nora also has been working on her bride outfit. She borrowed some of mommy's shoes for her most recent iteration.

Summer continues to roll along with daily plunges into the pool. Their swimming is getting really good.
