Halloween 2012

Halloween was met with another unprecedented storm. This one did not include snow like last year but we had 70 mph wind which took out power in most of NJ and parts of NY and PA. We were out for a day but num num and pop pop were out for a week. Pine trees were down everywhere. The Jersey shore was decimated.

In spite of all this, Halloween went on and the kids had a good time. Lots if candy and they got to hang out with the kids in the neighborhood. Jack pooped out a few houses from home and I carried him back.

Saturday was daylight savings so the days are getting shorter and it is dark by 5:00. The temperature is dropping and there is a potential for snow tomorrow. I guess winter is around the corner.
