So far, our summer vacation has included a full day at the beach with lots of sand castles and jumping in the waves. Jack's new game called run-stops which is basically suicides. We rented beach cruisers with trail a bikes. The kids can pedal and Jack calls himself Thunder Jack when he kicks in the pedaling. Nora is super competitive and pedals super hard to stay ahead of mommy and Jack. We have played Pirate golf and Jack won a free game! We have had ice cream at Springers and Buccaneers in Avalon. The kids had a flavor called Superman that was red white and blue.
On a side note, spray sun screen leaves something to be desired. As you'll see in the photo, when Leigh sprayed me down, the spray only hit some of me!
We had some rain today so we went to the zoo and bought some kites. Hopefully the sun is out soon.
