School and more

Well it has been over two months since I have made an update. Summer ended with rain in August and then a burst of heat in September. We only closed the pool two weeks ago and the kids actually swam in it in October.

The kids started kindergarten and it was met with a positive response. They both are doing very well learning simple math, higher numbers, sight words and much more. Nora was crowned worker of the week two weeks ago and Jack wore a crown home today, so they both had had a chance to show off their hard work. Nora picked a puzzle from the prize drawer and jack picked a toy bulldozer.

They also started soccer. Both are having fun learning from coach Nikki. Jack has had as many as four goals in a game and Nora has scored a few times too. The weather has been beautiful for their Sunday afternoon games. The first game was on our 10 year anniversary so num num and pop pop took them which was very nice. The kids had a sleep over while we went to the jersey shore.

Halloween is just two weeks away and the weather is suppose to be cooler next week but either way it has been nice to have a mild fall so far with lots of time outside. Today we had fun riding around the neighborhood on an electric scooter I found in the trash while runner one day. A little research online and a $12 charger and it's is back to running like a champ now time for some pictures.
