The tree

This past weekend was Thanksgiving and the weather was unseasonable warm, but after last winter, we'll take it. Lots of delicious food, mom made a pumpkin cheesecake that was amazing. Jack really wanted to play football and we had a little game. Scott, Hack and I versus uncle Doug, uncle Rick and cousin John Hoptak. Although we were losing most of the game, we managed to win on a fumbled ki koff. Jack caught a touchdown and had a great time.

On the Tuesday before, Jack lost another tooth which added to his holy smile as he had lost a top tooth the Thursday prior.

Tree house construction continued over the weekend. Scott helped on Friday and we now have a roof. This weekend looks sunny with temps in the 50s so maybe I can wrap it up. We are planning to go to see Circ du Solei on Saturday.

Also, this past weekend we cut down our Christmas tree and did some decorating. Looking forward to a month of holiday fun.

Lastly, we ended the holiday weekend with a birthday party for the kids friend, Molly where they got to ice skate for the first time. Jack had a little trouble staying upright but started to get it by the end. I think they both had fun and so we are hoping to get out to the rink a few times this winter.
