On Saturday, Nora had her first slumber party at her friend Novella's house. She said they were up until 3 or maybe 5 am but she wasn't sure ;) Jack was bummed that he did get to go so we met Ashley and saw Zootopia which was good, a little intense and scary but good. Nora's friend wanted to watch Sleepy Hollow but some of the other mom's and Leigh that it a bit too scary, so they watched Coraline instead. Nora slept fine last night so I guess it wasn't too scary ;)
Tonight we made funnel cakes for dessert. It was pretty easy and the kids said they were better than at the carnival.
Also this past weekend, the kids made a homemade light with some batteries, copper wire and a light bulb.
Jack has been get pretty good at flying the drone and Nora is getting really good at gymnastics. Jack started baseball practice this past week. He lost his glove the first night but it returned to the next practice, so all is good and I can return the replacement I had hidden in the truck :). Can't believe Easter is this coming weekend. It will be time to open the pool before we know it.
