check my blog!

i am starting my blog because leigh bought me a pin that says, "check my blog" and i want to be able to actually have a blog and not just be a poser with no blog. i have been resistant to the blog phenomenon but like the "new" jetta i starting to like them. so, on to the daily post: today i awoke around my usual 8:15 wake up call, domino our neighbors dog was singing a lovely tune, "bark, bark, baaarrrkkk, bark, bark, baaarrrkkk!" so up and on with the day. i did a brief body awakening yoga practice which was lovely and prepared me for my shower and morning cup of coffee. today's breakfast was an english muffin with some strawberry jam which was givien to us as a wedding favor at my cousin matt's wedding. it is very tasty! from there i consulted for a few hours, ate an organic amy's frozen lunch with a protein shake and headed to christian's to watch the phillies who unfortunately have dropped to 0-2 against the rockies. but hope is not lost, i believe they can come back. we ate some pizza, drank some coffee and chatted, which was fun. i got the tour of christian's new digs. it looks like christian, lynn and devon are well on their way to a happy life together. i returned home to await the arrival of my lovely wife and while i waited i took some photographs for my luckyoliver photo page. I include a picture for your enjoyment. this brings me pretty close to the end of todays post. leigh and i watch some of a french movie while eating chinese food, then watch the office and finished up our night with a little www.timesuck.org, our term for mindless time on our dualing macbooks which for me included the creation of this blog, so until my next post - "stir your pizza self".
