Start of the Holidays

We received copies of the kids photos from the dentist. Cute!

Thursday we spent the Thanksgiving holiday with family at Gramma and Grampa's house. Their new kitchen looks great. The kids enjoyed turkey, stuffing, veggies and lots of crackers. Crackers on coffee tables and curious hands equals high cracker consumption ;) They also discovered a liking for pumpkin roll. Mmmm...

On Friday we ventured out to Tranquility Tree Farm and cut down our Christmas Tree. It was cold and windy, so we made a selection quickly. It was the first day they were open, so there were plenty of shapely trees to choose from. We have been decorating it off and on over the last few days. The kids like hanging ornaments and taking them off and hanging them again. Jack likes swatting the lights and Nora has been pushing on the lower branches, but overall they are good with the tree.

On Saturday, Jack learned how to pull himself up on our bed and slide off the end. Nora is learning to blow on her food when she thinks it is hot. She is really starting to get it and even blew out two candles that were on the dining room table with our supervision. We have removed their high chair trays, so they can sit and eat at the table. The table has been conditioned with yogurt many times ;)

On Sunday night, we watched Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer with the kids. They did pretty well sitting and watching. They have been listening to Christmas music on the stereo and dancing up a storm. Jack has a hip swing, shoulder dip move that is accompanied with pointing fingers that is spectacular and Nora shakes her hips then does a front step back step move that is a real crowd pleaser as well. That's all for now.
