Yesterday after getting a bath, Jack ran into his room naked and proceeded to pee on the wall. They say awareness of ones urine is a step toward potty training, so I guess this is a good thing. Last Saturday was a decent snow storm and we had the kids out in their sleds which they again enjoyed, but the temp was really low and a little windy, so it was a short trip to the park. Lily had the best time running through the snow. Speaking of Lily, we let her out at lunch to go to the bathroom and sort of forgot to let her back in. We are sure how long she was out, but I heard some wimpers at the back door and there she was, a little cold, but seemingly unaware of her neglect. Sorry Lily. As for the kids, they are becoming quite the little helpers. They feed the pets, throw their diapers in the pail, put dishes in the sink, and will wipe the table after eating... well maybe smear is more accurate, but they are trying. They are getting better about letting us brush their teeth but diaper changes are tough at times. Leigh has resorted to singing the hokey pokey and I do a countdown. They want to do everything we do which is fun except that Nora wants to drive which is not really feasible, so there have been some tears on recent excursions.
