Memorial Day Weekend

Yesterday we spent the afternoon at uncle Dave and Cindy's to celebrate the holiday. It was a beautiful day. Blue sky. Light breeze. The kids got to spend some quality time with Grammy and pop pop after their hiatus in Florida.

Today we loaded the bikes on Scott's jeep and the bike trailer in the Cherokee and drove to the bike path in conshohoken. We road around 16 miles and the kids were good in the trailer for most of the ride, laughing and yelling as we went down hills and made sharp turns. Nora had a little trouble with her helmet staying in place which lead to some sadness on the way back, but that was eased by an apple juice and some chicken nuggets. Later we visit my parents for dinner and playtime in the palm tree kiddie pool. It was a good time. Great food and dessert too!
