Potty

Today was a fun day. The weather was sunny and warm with a light breeze. Rhis morning, Nora wanted to use the potty, so she and Jack got some time on their potty seats. Nothing happened but they are getting more comfortable sitting on them. Nora also has started saying poooop when she wants to sit on it. Later in the day she ran into the bathroom and shut the door. When I opened it, she was sitting on her potty smiling. Then turned to the toilet and dipped her hands in to wash them. Got to work on explaining the difference between the sink and the toilet :)

We went to the grandparents for a visit. Jack was in heaven sitting in grandpa's new truck. Most days start with a chorus of "bruck, bruck, bruck, etc". He really likes trucks right now. They both enjoyed snacks as gramma has a wonderful selection of their favorites, brown cow yogurt, berry apple sauce, mandarin oranges, string cheese, annie's cheddar crackers, and fresh stawberries to name a few. Speaking of fresh strawberries, our strawberry and blueberry plants have a few berries on them!

Later in the day we took a walk through the park. Nora found match box car and then found another one, but lost the second one before we got home. They both ran and laughed and had a great time. Back in the yard they took turns playing with the match box car and resting on the chaise lounge with mommy. Then they washed their hands with the hose and got a little sprinkle over their heads which they loved.

We rounded out the day with baths which included bubbles and a few books. It was a good day.
