October

Well it has been a little while since I have may a post, so I am making up for it with a bunch of photos. We have had a great October. Yesterday we watched the Springtown parade from the comfort of our front yard. It was a crisp sunny fall day and the kids got lots of candy. Their friend Sean from across the street joined them in his batman costume. He also joined us for trick or treat which was really fun. This neighborhood is so great and the kids were troopers. They made it around both loops with only one fall by jack and his was more worried about his candy than his hands. They again got loads of candy and they ate too much like you are supposed when you are a kid and it's Halloween! The day before the kids colored on there pumpkins and I did my best to carve exactly as they drew them. We went with abstract expressionist jack o lanterns. Mine was an ode to slimmer from ghostbusters. Today was the first day of November and the kids took there walk with Sean and ran through leaves in the neighborhood. A few attempts were made to walk up driveways with the intent to ask for candy again. We also made our first fire in the new house. The kids helped ball up paper to get it started. It was a great day.
