Parties

Now that the kids are in preschool that have been invited to a bunch of birthday parties. Today they went to one at the parkettes for their friend Sydney and had a blast. I was not there but Leigh took videos of them swing on a rope swing and falling off into a foam block pit. They also walked the blank and jumped about eight feet into the foam blocks. They had cake, cookies, and candy from a piñata. Seemed like a good time.

This week at preschool we had our first parent teacher conferences and both kids are "a pleasure to have in class" and doing well counting, identifying their colors, writing their names, cutting a straight line and participating in class. The class is predominantly girls, so Jack apparently gets really exciting when his friends Dylan, Griffin and Frances show up. Nora is very good at raising her hand and answering questions. We are so very proud.

Last week they had a birthday party with their preschool friend, London at Bounce-U. They climbed inflatable walls and went down big slides. Ran through obstacle courses and bounced in big netted rooms. They had pizza, cake and candy from a piñata. Another good time was had.

The temperatures have been hitting the 60s and last night we turned the clocks forward. We are Marching into spring with bike rides and adventures in the yard. They have been requests to open the pool since they started swim class last Thursday but I think we will wait for memorial day this year.
