Over the last month, we took a trip to DC and had a tour of the West Wing of the White House courtesy of Christopher. A amazing amount of history in those rooms. The Oval Office is very modest and smaller than it looks on TV.

The kids ran in the race for education again and did very well. I believe Jack did 18 laps and Nora did 17. They also had the most labels for donations so they were awarded prizes at there assembly last Friday. Nora got a whiteboard and markers and Jack got a light up color board.

On the 17thof October, we celebrated Leigh's birthday. On Saturday she ran the Runners World 5k and then later in the day had a party with the family.

Last and certainly not least, we enjoyed Halloween with the carving of pumpkins., trick or treat and a ride in Ashley's comet in the Springtown parade. It was a great time!
