April was a busy month. It started with Pop Pop's birthday. Nora and I attended our first father / daughter dance. We danced to butterfly kisses and she took lots of photos with her friends Fiona and Ava. We had our first fire in the fire pit and roasted marshmallows. Next was aunt Ashley's birthday. The weather was great and we took out the mustang and got to have her party outside. She found the house design that she has been looking for and construction on her log cabin will hopefully get started soon.
The cherry blossoms began to bloom and we finally got to see the treehouse disappear into the tree a bit. The kids got there third quarter report cards and they are doing very well. To celebrate, we let the kids pick a toy. Jack picked a beyblade and Nora chose a two and a half foot tall Storm Trooper that protects her room and her while she sleeps.
We rounded out the month with cousin Eric's birthday. Jack had his first sleepover that night too. He and his friend Sam and Corbin played beyblade a the whole time. We were nervous about them going to bed but by 10:45 the were all asleep. This proved to be too late for Jack as he still need a nap 5he next day. Notice the beyblade need a rest too.
