Mother's Day Weekend

Started the weekend with Jack's baseball game. Num num, pop pop, uncle Doug and aunt Beth came and Jack went 2 for 3 at the plate. He was 7 for 8 for the week and his batting average for the season is .590. He is playing really well and getting better at throwing and fielding with each game. The grass picking is getting less and less 😀

After the game, we grabbed lunch at the Coop and then headed home. I mowed the lawn and then we were back to baseball. The team walked the field and got to stand on the field for the national anthem at the Iron Pigs game. Lots of food and fields followed by fireworks at the end. Late night but lots of fun.

Sunday the kids gave Leigh some hydrangeas, spearmint, and a red pepper and some balloon animal balloons. Then we went to brunch, did a roof top photo shoot and headed up to see num num. It was great spending the afternoon with the family. The weather was beautiful, 85 and mostly sunny.
