First roller coaster

Today Aunt Ashley and I took the kids to Dorney Park and they rode 2 big roller coasters.  Although they have ridden the kiddie coaster at the carnival before, this was their first ride on Thunderhawk, the wooden coaster and then Steel Force which goes about 70 mph. They both had fun, Nora got a little scared on the first big drop on Steel Force but was laughing again by the end. We also went to the water park and went on a bunch of slides and the lazy river float.

At the main park, then went on a bunch of rides, the Whip, the Monster, the Music Express, the Wild Mouse, (actually they were I the wild mouse last year and it is sort of the roller coaster, but they were both over 48" this year, so I stick with my early claim that this was there first ride on a big coaster ;))... Back for the rides, they also went on Road Rally, the Apollo twice, the Wave Swings, the kiddie helicopters and kiddie drop rides.

Some chicken fingers, fries and some twist ice cream at mid day followed by a trip to Cali burrito for dinner rounded out a pretty great day. Dessert was some homemade raspberry pie.
