Well, I had been saying that Jack would not crawl until Nora had teeth and they were true to the prediction. Nora got her tooth yesterday, so Jack showed off his hidden crawling prowess today. He started with a few forward motions then started across the room. He was so proud, smiling and snorting the whole time in spite of the fact that he went under the knife this afternoon. (Sidebar: On Sunday we noticed a boil-like irritation on his inner leg which was examined on Monday by his Pediatrician and a Pediatric Surgeon. It did get better over the last 2 days but still needed a little cut from a scalpel to drain the fluid. With the pressure released, he seems better and will hopefully be healed up by the weekend.) We also spent some time out in the yard where they both enjoyed crawling in the grass. Then, we finished up the day with a dinner at DiMaio's. They were very well behaved and ate their cheese, peas, and fruit salad as we sat outside in the middle of a Chamber of Commerce spotlight meet and greet.
