Last Thursday Nora pulled herself up to standing at the couch and took 4 tentative steps. She has since been standing up on everything.
Monday morning, Jack poked Nora in the eye accidently, so Nora got to go to the doctor and get an eye patch to help the corneal abrasion heal. They wrapped gauze around her head to help keep the patch on as little hands would quickly remove it. She made it until bedtime before she removed the bandages. The redness has subsided and she seems to be much better today. A few more days of antibiotic drops and she will be back to 110%.
Jack has been getting very close to saying MaMa and we are quite sure we heard him say Mam...Dad... from his crib.
We have been also working on eliminating the nighttime feedings and after 3 nights of comforting when they would cry. We had a full night from Jack and a brief cry from Nora a 4:00 am. It was quite glorious to sleep from 10:30 until 4:00. Jack did not stir until 6:00.
