The beach groove

Today was beautiful all day. Blue sky and only the occasional whispy cloud. We ate breakfast and headed to another playground which was for kids a little older than our guys, but they did great. They really are daredevils.

After the park, we road down town and spent some time in the 5 and 10 looking at everything. Jack got a red matchbox jeep and Nora got a seashell painted pink with eyes on it. We grabbed lunch at Jack's Shack and headed to the beach.

And today, the kids found their beach groove. We spent over three hours on the sand. Digging up crabs, making dripped sand castles, collecting shells, splashing in the waves...

Nora lost her pink shell in the sand but a little boy named Ben found it for her and Jack lost his red jeep In the waves, but I found it tumbling in a wave. So we left the beach with everything we came with :)

After some long afternoon naps, we had pizza at the house and took a bike ride to the end of Stone Harbor and back. We grabbed some pints of ice cream and had a quick snack before pjs, books and bed. Another great day!
