After naps, the sun came out and we went to the cape may zoo which closes at 4:45, so it was a quick run through but we saw goats, alpaca, monkeys, peacocks, macaws, bald eagles, deer, a camel and snow leopards. There are lions and a tiger but we got kicked out before we made it to their habitats. Still fun. The kids both got some plastic animals to play with and Jack got some adventure safari trucks and Nora got a pink mermaid doll to which she exclaimed "oh my goodness!" when she saw it.
We were going to head to harpoon henry's for dinner but they were closed for a party so we went to the raw bar at the lobster house. I had a soft shell crab sandwich which, if you were wondering is the entire crab deep fried. I ate most of it but the body was a bit more soft shell and other stuff than I prefer in a sandwich. The kids had fries and corn on the cob. Nora put hers in a cup of water with an oyster cracker and lemon. She said it was good. Though it looked pretty gross, she may be on to something!
After dinner, we drove to the boardwalk and had ice cream at Zoe's and played games at the arcade.
