Epic First Day of Summer

Yesterday was the official first day of summer and it was a big day. Nora had her first dance recital and she performed wonderfully. Her class did a tap routine called "Pajama Time" and a ballet routine called "Young at Heart". Num num, pop pop, Ashley, Missy, Ryan, Eric and Cole all came out to support our little dancer. She is really into dancing and takes it very seriously and was very excited that everyone came to see her. It was a tiring day for her since there were two performances but she did very well.

During the night performance, Jack and I went to an Iron Pigs game with Scott, Janet, Ashley, num num and pop pop. We got to watch the game from a suite and Ferrous visited our suite. Jack got his picture with him and they asked him to do a skit on the Field after the fifth inning. Jack got to dress up like Rocky and box with Ferrous. He really played the part and did a great job for the fans. He got a game ball and a once in a lifetime memory. Throw a hot dog, ice cream and fireworks on top and that's going to be tough to best.

All in all a pretty amazing Saturday!
