Today was another gorgeous day. After church we packed up the bikes and took a family ride on the SRT. We rode from Reading Rd to Water Street. At Water Street park, the kids rode the pump track and both washed out on some loose rocks. Nora had the worst of it and drew a little blood. Some refreshing tea from one of the farmers market vendors lifted their spirits and helped hydrate for the return trip. The prospect of jumping in the pool was a big motivator for getting back to the car. Today was the first day I stayed in the pool for more than 30 sec. It's starting to warm up quite a bit ;)
After the pool, the kids and I washed the cars and played with the hose. Then we rounded out the day with some tasty tacos and strawberry shortcake and a bit of fishing. Jack caught 5 and Nora caught 4 and the Mosquitos were biting too!
Almost forgot to mention that Jack got his yellow belt yesterday at karate!
